FREE LOVE!

Sooooo, have you ever been at a point in your walk with God, where you realize that you are totally missing the point of “WALKING WITH GOD”? Yea that’s where I am right about now. Sometimes we get so caught up in ministry, works, fasting, etc that we miss and often forget the whole purpose of our salvation and that’s to bask in the Lords Love. I have learned and still am learning that I can not earn God’s love.  His love will always be given to me FREELY. Paul said in Romans 8:38-39 “I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things to come will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus”.  That is so true!! Nothing that we do will keep God from loving us. This does not mean that now we have the right to go out and sin against God because his love is unfailing. Yes God loves us but he is also holy. He will not let your sin, my sin, the popes sin, no ones sin go unpunished just because he loves us. Of course, no one is perfect so we need God’s grace to carry us. I have decided that I will stop trying to do works to make me feel like the lord will love me more. He never said fast until you’re so small that you can dodge raindrops and then I will love you. No!  The word says that the sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart God will not despise.Whats the point of fasting if we dont reap the benefits of God's character . Now don’t get me wrong, fasting/ consecration is important and we should do it. But ultimately it is not for God it is for us. It is to separate us from world while drawing closer to God.But again dont get me wrong, If God told you and has called you to a lifestlye of constant fasting and prayer then thats what you need to do. But if he didnt tell you to do it and you just do it becasue you feel like he will not love you or your trying to fill sometype of void in your walk by doing works then here is where you need to Stop!! Slow Down!! take the time out to get caught up, captivated and mesmerized in the Lord’s presence and his wonderful, everlasting, unrelenting FREE love!!!!!

The only thing to fear is... Well nothing!!

 

What is fear? This is just my little definition. Fear to me is a conjured up false idea that drives our state of mind into a frenzy that eventually and sometimes inevitably leads us to paralysis’s in our actions . When we are afraid of something usually it is because we think that we are going to be harmed in some sort of way or that the outcome whatever the situation may be will not work out in our favor. Don’t let fear hold you back!! If God be for you then who can be against you. Shoot!!! Who would want to be against you with the Lord on your side.  If you want to start that business of yours then do it. There will be some struggle attached to it but, if the Lord told you to do it then you have nothing to worry about because he has your back. If you are letting fear keep you from living, from prospering, from thriving in the peace, Joy, power, and love that is received through salvation in Christ then I would like to encourage you to (go in on the lord). That’s my way of saying “Seek the Lord” with passion and with drive. If you seek the Lord you will surely receive an answer.

Who are you?!

      Ask yourself this question. Who Am I ? I’m sure that there are several thoughts running through your mind, but really who are you? Or better yet who do you think you are.

      Many people try to discover who they are through friend’s t.v shows or even music.
      But the only true way to find out who you are is through Jesus Christ. Think about it, who can tell you who you are better than the one who created you. He knows you better than you know yourself, he knows you better than your parents or your friends know you.  He knows you better because he knows your heart. Your friends may know your personality and they may know a few things about you, but do they know the secret things in your heart? No only JESUS Christ knows!!!

    So, you have to be careful who you surround yourself with.

·          I suggest that the next time you are around your homegirls , homeboys, or even church members that you may associate with, ask yourself do these people really accept me for who i am? Evaluate the circumstances, for example ask yourself if I Didn’t have a nice car or if I didn’t dress nice would they still be my friends? You will find the results to be pretty shocking.

·         You have to choose your friends wisely. Simply because friends can bring you down. Depending on what type of friends you may have. Are your friends a positive influence or a negative influence? Meaning do they help you stay out of trouble or do they get you in trouble?! Do they make you feel good about yourself or do they make you feel bad about yourself?!

   Know your  self –worth

·          you have to know how valuable and how precious you are. So I want to encourage you all.

I want to encourage you to be you. Don’t try to be like nobody else. Think about how the world would be if everyone acted the same, or dressed the same. We will be bored and bland.

·         Love yourself for who you are. If you like to wear your purple, orange, and blue, then wear it, because the only opinion that matters is yours and Jesus’s of course.

·         Embrace your talents and gifts and use them for the Glory of God. Whatever you are good in use that to glorify God. Remember at the end of the day the only one we need to please is God.

·         You are beautiful and the bible says in psalms 139:14 that “ you are fearfully and wonderfully made”

·         So embrace who you are, because I guarantee that there is no one else in the universe like you.

·         You have to remind yourself that you are a child of the most high God. Who can do exceedingly and abundantly above all you can ask or think.

·         Remember, God does not make any mistakes. And you are not a mistake.

·         Finally, don’t let a man, woman, or friends, define who you are, instead be defined by Jesus Christ alone.
